If Guerrero were to beat Berto.. where would you rank him p4p?
As you know, I'm big on Guerrero.. but I've already said Berto should win this.. even by KO... Ortiz had to unleash all cylinders and firepower to win... Guerrero doesn't have that fire power at this weight and Berto is pretty explosive.... That being said, if Guerrero wins.. I think Guerrero will get shine and be put in the top ten... it would be pretty impressive.. thoughts?? POLL.. fools.... |

Aydin sucks. Berto got his head beat in by Ortiz. Lets not act like Robert had a choice in moving up the guy grew out of the weight class he weighed 157 a few days ago. He is not that good of a fighter. Has nothing to do with race its about skills. And he is not beating Berto.

Y'all are placing WAY too much emphasis on size here, Berto is a mediocre boxer that gasses late in fights. He's like the Jean Pascal of the Welterweight division, some amazing athletic abilities and good power, but not much else to fall back on. Guerrero has become somewhat of a dick as of late, but if he boxes to a plan and uses all of his savvy, he SHOULD be able to nullify most of Berto's strengths early enough to win a pretty convincing decision.

I like Robert but I Berto is gonna hurt his ass. I just think that Berto has the skills to hit him flush and the ghost won't be able to handle it. Plus I don't think he can keep Berto honest. Berto's gonna walk him down and flush him.

Dunno where I'd rank him necessarily but a big win. He goes from a seemingly good prospect who talks way to much crap.. To a good prospect who talks crap.
I've never been a berto fan, and it's hard to say what he's like now that he hasn't fought in a while, BUT in my mind Guerrero stands little chance against him. Big win in my book. |
