probably Jose Luis Ramirez. If he had caught Davis around '82, he may have been in trouble.

Yeah what the ****? I heard he got shot in the face in
Puerto Rico Tuesday night. His family wants to take him off
of life support. I have to see more of his full fights. The
first full fight of his I saw was against Boom Boom Mancini.
Great fight.

The 'Macho Man' embarrassing Ray Leonard.

Both boxers were past their prime, but Hector 'destroyed' Ray Leonard's
'Money Vision' of fighting Oscar De La Hoya.

'The Macho Man' ruined Ray Leonard physically, and destroyed him mentally.

Leonard had no right fighting again after losing so badly to Norris.

He frequently blew hot and cold post-Rosario.That fight and the drugs didn't do him much good in the long run.Looked good against some solid and good guys in Baltazar,Pazienza and Davis, then he had some downright awful performances against Cruz(this was the first fight in which that ugly spoiling/survival stuff came into play) and Mancini. The first half of rematch with Haugen was promising, where he actually stood his ground, initiated the attack and actually controlled the fight before reverting back to the same old back peddling style as the fight wore on.
