Foreman was robbed. No way on earth would he have fought Lewis. He'd have probably retire for another two years before fighting botha or oquendo or someone like that.

I watched this fight again just last night. George definitely should have gotten the decision, but he was also smart enough not to get it on with Lewis had he won.
But what a fighter George was...48 and beating up a young, strong fighter like Briggs. Amazing. The man had an incredible career. I couldn't believe that he tried to plug his grill during the post-fight interview. |
