Default Re: Lee Sala, RIP

Lee Sala another old timer has bit the dust....I saw Lee Sala at the end of his career at Eastern P'kwy Arena in Bklyn NY. Lee had a helluva left hook and fought in a tough
middleweight era, along with Rocky Castellani, Joey Giambra, Bobo Olson etc...
Sala beat an acquaintance of mine Georgie Small...His most famous win was when he after being dropped by the powerful puncher Joey De John several times arose and flattened De John breaking his jaw with a left hook...R.I.P.
