Consider that American and American based fighters and Canadian and Canadian based fighters dont seem to be able to win big fights at SMW when fighting in Europe. Consider how Lacy, Dirrell, J Taylor, Bute, Pascal, Mitchell, Brewer etc all were beaten in Europe In Europe Bute, Dirrell, Pascal, Andrade, Green, Lucas, Lacy, Manfredo, Pudwill, McIntyre, Jimenez, Sheika, Brewer, Mitchell, Schommer, Holmes, Close (I said based in America), Thornton, Essett, Jarvis, McClellan, Perez, Gatti (not Arturo), Tate, Butler, G Johnson, Hernandez, Bryan Lost in Europe This just gives an idea but do consider that out of those 28 fighters 21 were or became world rated in the division, and some fought more than once in Europe. Brewer had 4 attempts in big fights and couldnt do it Mitchell 2 attempts in big fights and couldnt do it European SMW fighters fighting away from home have had better success but still lost away. Now you can add Mack to that list when Froch beat him |

If he wanted he could get out of the Bute fight by saying hes not relevant now, but that is untrue and he has no probs with the AAs, Bikas and Greens and could be facing Pavlik next who at SMW has done alot less and not looked great |

Like MrMagic said: "Remember folks, he was utterly confident going into Nottingham, and got squashed like a bug,"
100% True, props to Bute, but this rematch should never happen, because he got annihilated so badly he probably still has nightmares of that night. If the rematch happens and Froch does the same trick, he's done at top-level and has nothing to do at 175 or 168. Under a year ago, people talked about Bute being better than Ward, Froch & Kessler - now that's nonsense, and it just shows how fast it can go in boxing |
