I used to talk to him way back when he used to hang out the Montebello Golf Course. Johnny Martinez and his band drew in the ladies and Macho would have an entourage
of hangers on and himself drive up in a Lincoln limo. He plowed thru those senoritas
like he did his opponents in the ring. He put them on their backs like no other.

We usually don't appreciate the villain's until a generation or so passes.

He was truly an icon that despite what current issue's he had, did not deserve to go out like this. Shot down by a piece of shit while trapped in the front seat of a car.

I had hopped he would survive this so he could identify the inhuman debris that committed these crimes. They may never find these guys....the streets being as they are, the other wastes of oxygen will probably stay silent with this bullshit code of silence they have.

Rest in peace champ. Thank you for the memories.
Well said. Whatever wrong doings he did, affected himself alone. He committed no crimes for people to judge him to the point that "It was deserved".

He was an addict that never found his way out. I can't fathom people saying he deserved it. Otherwise, you'd be saying that anyone that makes mistakes Eg. Drug addiction, etc. Deserve to die.

I feel bad for his family, but explain to me how he was a credit to the sport.

He was a little low life piece of shit who wanted to act like a thug and died like one. None of you would give two shits if he wasn't a boxer.
