Darke disappearing up Quigg here. I'm not really seeing it. Apart from the body attack which Munroe doesn't seem to bothered about he isn't landing anywhere near enough up top. Quigg using up a lot of needless energy as well I feel. Not a good thing against someone who ups it in the later half of the fight

Round 4 - One positive for QUigg is he not boxing in your typical 'Joe Gallagher sty'e tonight. Looking to get his quicker shots off and then back out. He's a bit too direct for my liking. Moving in and out in straight lines and he's lucky Rendall's not taking advantage of that. After a fine first round, Rendall can't really get off. That straight lefts been abandoned and he's throwing these awkward arm punches. Extremely ineffective. These Quigg body shots are really going to tell in the second half of the fight, they've been thrown with real intent.
3-1 Quigg. |

Quigg needs to be 5-1 up at the halfway point.
If he can do that, he'll win. Rendall ain't going to get rid of him. Sad what's happened to him since he left Mismatch. Hasn't worked out at all. |

Round 5 - Quigg's body attack are the only stand out thing from either fighter tonight. LHL makes a good point about Quigg using up a lot of energy, he does bounce around a bit too much. Ooh! Quigg catched Munroe cleanly upstairs from probably the first time. Munroe complained about a low blow which really wasn't. Could see a corner retirement later on.
