He done well considering it was his first fight in years, hope he doesn't get in the same state again.
He could do something that he shouldn't, he should be proud of himself. Sitting amongst 15 scousers tonight all cheering him on shows that he was a special fighter. |

Aye, Ricky needs to realise who he is and what he has done. Thats not a 'pointing agressively in the chest' comment, its from a 'mate, it's all good' stance. He thinks he's mugged himself off in front of millions. No, you lost some fights, big deal. Everyone will remember the 'fan'tastic ricky.

I am more saddened and hurt by this loss, than i was for Audley Harrison's loss to David Haye and David Price or David Haye's loss against Wladimir Kiltschko.
Because I worry for Ricky Hatton's mental health. Even though i am more of a bigger fan of David Haye & Audley Harrison..? Them fighters in general love life itself, they are more content and sure of themselves in life. Even though i think Audley Harrison has also some issues with moving on from boxing, i honestly think Audley Harrison in sport and in life has the correct mentality to move on from a loss. Audley Harrison loves life, he loves falling and rising again in life..? others will let themselves be destroyed and slip into depression, Audley Harrison does not understand this so far..? But i may be wrong. Ricky Hatton for me is incapable of moving on from a loss, and i could see how much this meant to him. All this talk during the build up, that he was over his depression..? Was nonsense, he's a broken man and has been for years. They said that defence was one of Ricky Hatton's weakness, trainers can teach you how to defend against shots, but they cannot teach a fighter how to protect their heart! I am honestly upset, and i probably won't post on these forums for afew months now after tonight. |

The ending was so predictable....The huge number of people who picked him for the win on here must surely feel like mugs, idiots actually. Hatton early my arse.
The best thing about tonight is that Lirva has lost ten grand, or so he says |
