Its a shame when someone of talent and legacy dies young but when that person gambles with a lifestyle as Camacho has then I only feel sorry for the suffering that he has caused the family.

I was thinking about Johnny Tapia and how his death in itself wasnt caused by overly wreckless behavior on his part, although nobody expected him to live till old age. Yet he didnt die of an overdose. I dont think many people expected Macho to live till old age, yet he also didnt die at his own hands. In life theres a weird connection to the law of attraction. A lifetime of living fast will attract a fast demise and it can come in any form. This is another sad reminder that we have to be responsible for ourselves and the situations we put ourselves in. That said, Camacho DID have a full life. He lived the way he chose to fid better or worse. Rest in peace champ.

It's still hard to comprehend that this has happended, he was one of my all time favorites, yer could'nt help but admire him, great charecter, great boxer, not everyone's cup of tea. But without doubt one of the best technicians i've seen. I'll never forget him at the Chavez/Taylor 1 fight at the Hilton, what a wind up merchant! He did'nt give a flying ****! Wound all the Mex's up real bad Stomping around with that great MACHO MAN Gold signboard 2 ton necklace, after ALI, Hector led the way for over the top self publicity & hype & the rest followed, "Thats right BABY! IT'S MACHO TIME"
