maidana vs hatton

if ricky comes through tomorrow this is the fight that should be made. Khan and Brook are too young and athletic for Rick and I wouldn't want to seem him take another comprehensive annihilation. They should fight each other anyway.

Style wise Maidana and Hatton make for a great match-up and they are both a bit small for welter. If ricky can beat marcos then i would begin to believe he's regained some form. Though he hasnt really shown it yet Marcos has some mileage on him as well, he's always in brutal fights.

Rematching a paulie he dominated already (who got a serious gift against cano) is understandable since acquiring another title will allow him to sail of into the sunset proper, but really isn't saying a whole lot to me about a serious comeback. Plus id love to see marcos get the payday, the kids always in entertaining fights and always brings it.

I can understand Hatton wanting to stay away from it but you've got to admit it could be a good one...

Prime for prime Hatton wins by decision. Now though?, Maidana by TKO... it would be a bad idea for Hatton to fight a hard punching pressure fighter at this stage in his career. A very bad idea. Even if Hatton did manage to pull it off Maidana would take everything he had left.

Wait and see, Hatton may look good, but might look terrible, Maidana is slightly past it himself, but still has power and might do serious damage to hatton, if he isn't at top level like he was, because ricky even in his prime wouldn't be able to run from Maidana (not that am saying he would have needed to)

Maidana did a nice job using his newly found skills to patiently outbox then TKO the rather unskillfull Karass

But outbox or bang a prime Hatton? no chance... an old comeback Hatton? Probaly
