For those of you asking if Joe C should come back and try his hands on Ward.
We're not even sure how he would do against Abraham or his former victim Bika. He's been too far from the sport and 4 years certainly deteriorated his body. The guy had his time. He was given a chance to do what he can. In fact he had a much longer career than most where he's at the top. |

Calzaghe.
IQ: 118 Hatton. IQ: 83 ____________________________ They are world's apart and how Hatton carried himself while away and how he prepared for the return, say absolutely nothing about how Calzaghe would do. |

I didn't even know there was a Calzaghe comeback question. It should be obvious to everyone that a return would be disastrous for him and his legacy.

Both Hatton and Calzaghe has lived pretty reckless lifes since leaving boxing, atleast as far as I know..
Ideally a boxer should always respect his body and life a healthy lifestyle.. You can't stay away from the sport for that long while not taking care of yourself, and then expect to come back and win fights.. The sport of boxing is simply too demanding for that. |

although both did drugs and drink after retiring, at least calazghe kept in moderate shape. Hatton was walking around like a light heavy weight.

Calzaghe has since moved into being a trainer and will never return to the ring as a boxer - which is the way it should be. |

Not really, i think the fights were there for Calzaghe to take in 09/10 at light heavyweight but he didnt. How good would it have been for him to finish up with Pavlik, Dawson and Froch. Obviously ignoring logistics for a second that would have been fantastic.

He'd lose to Ward without question, but unless he's put on something like 70 or 80 pounds and stripped it off with a crash diet, he'd look better than Hatton.
