Default Is Poonsawat a legit threat to Rigondeaux?

Not really familiar with him and what he brings to the table. Does Rigo win easily?

A highly-ranked pressure fighter. I think Rigo disposes of him fairly easily, but stranger things have happened.

He's tailor made for Rigo. Glassmo should win but you never know with that fragile mandible of his

Poonsawat does have legitimate power and is very durable. Rigo can certainly outbox him, but PK likely will be pressing him every step of the way and if he lands something solid, he can hurt Rigo.

It's definitely a good test for El Chacal.

Rigo is very experienced, but he can be flustered. Can Poon take his left hand will be the key. If Rigo can slow him down and make him wary of the power, he's going to box his socks off. Might stop him late. If Poon takes the left hand well, he can win. A very stiff test for Rigo.

Before the fight was announced many people here were calling for that fight,Poon was suppose to be the hardest fight at 122 out of Nonito and mares.
After the fight was announced some of the same people are claiming that Poon is another bum.
Facts? ...the guy is one of the most solid fighters at 122, ranked among best 3 for 4 years. Styles make a fight, Rigo likes pressure fighters since they come forward and it's easy to counterpunch.

Anything is possible. Rigo is quite a spectacle, but there is always a question mark with that chin of his.

I'm more excited about hearing Lampley pronounce Poon's name repeatedly than I am about this fight or the main event.

Powerful pressure fighter. Think Rigo easily outboxes him though. Hes definately not a bum though

This. He's clearly the best guy at 122 not named Donaire, Mares, or Rigondeaux (maybe Nishioka too).

He has a legit resume with good power. Rigo won't have to worry about finding the fight.

I do wish the fight was signed sooner, rather than the 4-5 weeks Poon gets to train for it.

Puncher's chance, but Rigo should eat him up with his counter-punching.

The Poon is a tough and strong fighter, but he has the style that favors El Chacal.

I think that rigo will out box him early on but poonsawat will pressure non stop and will cause some drama by clipping and hurting rigo once or twice. By the middle rounds i can see the thai getting to rigo more and more and the tide will turn. I see poonsawat stopping rigo in round 8 or 9. Make no mistake though, if rigo manages to get the win its a legit one and his most significant so far. I think it will be an exciting fight and im delighted its been added to the card.
