Over rated??? look at his damn resume; Juddah, Mosely, Margarito(2x), Mayweather, Clottey, Maliagnagi, Quintana, Pacman, Mayorga, Foreman, Torres, Bailey, Pinto, Corely... Yea someone who gets in the ring with all these guys especially when alot of them where undefeated is severly over rated...

I don't know if exiting immediately means something. That is pride. I think it is better than someone standing around laughing with the guy who just beat him and not being upset. That shows indifference to a loss. He has heart.

A guy on the rise beats someone and all of a sudden they are shot, overrated...

...heard this bullshit too many times before

One day someone will win a big fight because they were the better fighter and credit will be given to the loser. Not sure when though.

I agree, he has always been slightly over rated. He used fouls to get himself through several tough fights when he was younger as well. Fights that very well could have gone the other way had Cotto not resorted to his patented nad attack. He would have definitely needed to hit Trout in the nuts with hard hooks, and uppercuts like he did to Judah, Torres, and Corely, if he was going to beat Trouth.

ESB;The home of Fickly Fickle from Ficklesburg,Fickleania.

Pile of shite. He's been one of the most entertaining and best value for money fighters of the century so far.
Even at 140,he was great value for money. He's been great for the game, and if this is the end then I'm grateful for what he's brought to the sport I love.

I was a big Margo fan and that was one of the rare occasions when I wanted Cotto to lose, but one of my abiding memories from that great night was being astonished when it seemed like Cotto was putting on a slick masterclass in the first four rounds, drawing on skills I never knew he had in his locker.
I didn't want him to beat Floyd(never thought it would happen anyway) but I've never wished harm on Cotto.
He's been very good for the game, and if a fan like Hatesrats can pay tribute to a Rican fighter,it tells you that the guy has something about him.

ALL these guys are proud men and feel losses hard.

You think it was easy for Roy Jones to stand there after getting starched by Tarver? You think Marquez wanted to stand there after getting shut out by Mayweather? Or De La Hoya after the Pac domination?

Just be professional and do the interview. It's a small thing really, and Cotto shouldn't get a pass for running out of the ring (twice now) and not doing it because of his 'pride'.

He was pissed at the scoring, which really was very wide. In the post-fight he showed plenty of class and said verbatim that he accepted the defeat. He probably wanted to comfort his family, I doubt he gives a shit about a sparse number of haters. They hate the things he says when he talks, and they hate when he declines to speak.

Same rationale he used for storming out against Mayweather. After two such episodes, it does seems like a pattern of like just b!tching out.

This isn't even a case like JMM who thought he got robbed in PacJMM III. No one watching thought Cotto won either of these fights.

Just man up and do the interview like every other professional fighter has to in that situation. Again, it's a small thing.

I have always considered him an overrated overprotected fighter who was never all that great. And yes, he's a ****ing sore loser. I don;t give a **** how man yof his sensitive-ass fans don't like to hear it. The man is good, but he's not as good as everyone likes to proclaim.
