Didnt Canelo say he still wanted to fight him even if he loses?
Also didn't Canelo also say he is not interested in fighting Trout even if he wins? Anyway whatever happens tomorrow people will be lining up to fight him, he is PPV star and a marquee name. |

Possibily the loser of Lara/Martiosyan II. He likely won't be in a championship bout assuming this is a clear decision for Trout. He won't get a bottom tear oppoent either.
I can see him being matched with the likes of James Kirkland, Carlos Molina, Gabriel Rosado Alfredo Angulo or Keith Thurman. Each is a pototional future star who would get a boast if they were to beat Cotto, and for Cotto a young up and commer to put him back into the championship picture. |

Retirement. Trout isn't Mayweather or Pacquiao. Once Cotto starts to lose to guys (in fair fights minus possible plaster-usage) who aren't among the very elite pound-for-pound, he should call it quits. I'd probably be singing a different tune, though, if he hadn't taken so much punishment throughout his career.
