This is my point exactly.
He hasn't done anything to be merited a fight with the best fighter in the sport. If the fight gets signed watch quickly how everyone changes their tune and start demeaning the fight. After Floyd beats him, the ridicule will continue... I can hear the excuses now. "Mayweather cherry picked the easiest belt holder at JMW - he needs to fight Trout", "Mayweather beat someone that hasn't fought a single worthy contender" etc... |

More than you. (Even without knowing one thing about you)
^except you sport an Avi w/a below average chick in it. Ha... I kid, Alvarez is the future of this business, get used to it. What did Mayweather do to deserve the ODLH fight? (In hindsight those fights were pretty weak) |

Consensus 2010 "Prospect of the Year."
Backed it up with wins over Rhodes, Cintron, Mosley, and Josesito. Has a title at 154. Size advantages. At the age of 22, he is still improving. He seems to be a future superstar in the sport. |

He's done a lot what are you talking about. He's beaten Matthew Hatton (beat in the ring and on the scales), he's beaten Cintron, he's beaten Baldomir, he's beaten Mosely, and he's recently beaten the junior welterweight Lopez. If that doesn't deserve a shot at the big times, I don't know what will.
