The new generation is built mostly on hype. I mean broner and canelo can box but I think both are overrated a bit and untested. Broner is never going to be mayweather, canelo is never going to be ODLH. Neither of those guys have any medal in the olympics.

Forgot one legged Guzman who broke his fat leg in half.
Oh and how is Pacquaio being cashed out on Rios? Rios would get put through the meat grinder against Pacquaio. |

Ya man the last generation's greats are pretty much all retired or done like dinner. Only Floyd, JMM and Manny are still holding it down. Manny's coming off a loss and a couple of bad performances. Floyd may still have a few fights left in him but not many. Even if JMM wins he's still way to small for the wt and will never rule a division again.
Joe Calzaghe - Long gone...was at the end back then. Bernard Hopkins - May fight cleverly but is an absentee fighter that has been living off smoke and mirors and good style match-ups for years. Israel Vazquez - done like dinner Antonio Margarito - got his eye punched out and is done like cheating dinner Rafael Marquez - done....ish.... Miguel Cotto - Just made his last attempted at relevance. May have a few fights left but should retire. Ivan Calderon - done....I think... Ricky Hatton - Just got KTFOed after an ill-advised comeback. Hopefully finds more peace in his second retirement. Vitali is entering politics and is probably out of the game. Chad dawson - Now has two clear losses and is obviously a shell of his former self. Paul Williams - was done and then suffered a terrible accident Edwin Velaro - Dead Darchynian - Is a gatekeeper Pavlik - opponent Jermaine Taylor - should not be allowed to box. Can`t believe they are going to letting him fight Quillin. He may get seriously hurt. Glenn Johnson - the road warriors is now the bum gate keeper his record makes him look like. Tarver - rioded up for one last show and lost his job as a commentator. What a waste. Paulie - fulltime commentator looking for one last payday. MAB - long done. Morales - done. |

We just saw Oscar and Mosley exit, too. There are some good young fighters ready to step up.
Cotto made the most fights on that list btw. |
