DeGale easily.
For all the lad's flaws.... he's certainly a talented kid with plenty of room for improvement. Eubank.... not sure he has. He might win some domestic titles, nothing more. |

Eubank JR....although the fight wont happen when they are both owned by Hennessey. Its to dangerous a fight for the loser.
DeGale has had more experience with tougher opponents, although neither have fought anywhere near world class. Eubank is still learning and he f*cks about to much, but there are some positives, when he wants to defend and use his shoulder, he can, but his fighting seems erratic and not very consistent, and if he doesnt get out of that habit, he will get tagged sooner or later. DeGale is talented also, but its much the same, he fights fights way to hard, neither need to fight the way they do, they make it harder for themselves doing it and eventually it will backfire. I think the winner will be the one who irons out those habits the most, and out of the two I think Eubank is more likely to do so, doesnt mean its gonna happen though. Eubank has the right advice and head on his shoulders, but even he is crossing over to the dark side and starting to get cocky. It will bite him back one day, its a shame really, because he hasnt always been like it, its almost like he is doing it to find some identity, but he is making mistakes that he can avoid, and leaving gaps he doesnt need to leave. Both DeGale and Eubank are talented, but they dont fight the way they can, they fight stupidly and it will cost them both if they dont change. Its crazy to even be talking about this, because they can go as far as they want to, but they wont, because they are concentrating to much on the image, and not concentrating on fighting to the level they can do, IF they put their minds to it and dedicated themselves like Broner and Mayweather for instance. |

Degale wide UD.
Looks like Jnr can take a punch, has abit of snap but not enough power and fights in patches too much. Degale no doubt |

Do you need to knock every opponent out though?
The best boxers realize and recognize when to do it and when not, its not about blowing your opponent out in round 1, its about making sure your safe and changing your game up in the ring when need be. Those that try and get it over and done with early, are normally fighters afraid for the fight to go on past the middle rounds. So they try to take advantage of the power they have, but I have no problem with a fighter that wants to box. Boxing isnt all about power, its about skill. And for me personally, I prefer to see a boxer utilize his skill over 12 rounds, and give the opponent a boxing lesson, rather than see someone just go in to finish the fight early if poss. I think Eubank has got power, he just doesnt use it as much as other fighters, he paces himself and his punches. Mixes it up, if he threw power punches one after the other, he'd get tired and open himself up to his opponent. Why would you allow yourself to get into that situation? Do what your good at I say, and if the chance arises to finish the fight, be it 1st round, or 12th. Take the chance if you can. |

Am i not mistaken in saying Jr is a JrMW?
Where has this kind of hype come from apart from an invalid twitter rant and silly bollocks Sr mentioning the fight tonight? What on Earth would be the point in this? |
