Kell Brook will be too accurate, too often.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Alexander quit on his stool during the late rounds.

Ah, cool, this is good news. I've been waiting for Kell Brook to fight someone half decent and this is perfect. We'll now get some answers to all the questions surrounding Brook.

Wouldn't mind seeing him smack Khan about too.

Brook needs a stoppage as out boxing Alexander clearly doesn't get the nod.

There are either some blind patriotic Americans on this thread or some very ignorant ones.

I'm British but I call things as I see them without bias.

I really cannot see anyway Alexander wins this fight for the following reasons:-

1) Brook's reflexes - even though Alexander is a South Paw I just don't see him being able to connect that often against Brooks superb reflexes and Brook's superb counter punching will break Alexander's heart.

2) Alexander's poor defence - I'm pretty certain Brook's punch accuracy will be somewhere between 50 - 60% and Alexander will not be able to do anything about it.

3) Desire - Alexander is a proven quitter and as soon as the going gets tough there's a real chance he'll look to escape out of the fight like he did against Bradley where as Brook will not let this opportunity go IMO.

The only chance Alexander has is that Brook doesn't train properly but I think he's learned some harsh lessons on that score.

I can't see anything other than an easy 10-2 / 9-3 decision in Brook's favour.

I can't find any reason or argument to say Alexander wins this fight but if anyone can then I'll have a good read...

I took the time to watch that Carson and Brooks fight. I can understand a draw but if there had to be a winner, that winner should have been Carson. If Carson had started his pressure from the first round he wouldv'e stopped Brooks.

Kell won 7 clear rounds, Carson won 5 clear rounds, there's no argument whatsoever to say that Jones won or even deserved a draw. I seriously question how you score fights if you think that was a draw or Jones won?

My scorecard

1 10-9 Brook
2 10-9 Brook
3 10-9 Brook
4 10-9 Brook
5 10-9 Brook
6 10-9 Brook
7 10-9 Jones
8 10-9 Jones
9 10-9 Jones
10 10-9 Jones
11 10-9 Brook
12 10-9 Jones

115-113 Brook

It wasn't a difficult fight to score, Kell was beating him handily and ran out of gas due to his own poor training for the fight. In a rematch, Jones gets beaten up over 12 rounds or gets stopped, Kell underestimated and almost paid the price, but still won beyond doubt.

Alexander is nothing special, he's been beaten more than once before (regardless of what boxrec says), and he'll be beaten again.

Im not sure it was just poor training though, he broke his nose afaik (well it was bloody anyway) which would of effected his breathing, he handled it pretty well and came through it, he didn't quit the first time he faced adversity like ahem someone we know....

It would take a very good effort for Brook to win here. I think he falls short on a close but clear UD in an uneventful fight.
