Any reason he did not want to go for the Olympic games in '12? Too far away? 18 is rather young for a heavyweight.

I don't know the precise background , you can ask him in the boxrec amateur forum where he posts under his name. I guess he saw the void right now. The guy he beat in the Pennsylvania Golden Gloves and went there instead of him is now in the final.

Partial record... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Lenroy Thompson who he beat is the only man to beat Tor Hamer in 35 fights.
And Jordan Shimmell whom he beat is now in the 201lbs final.

he's mad young. He should of stuck around and got some more experience. He could of waited a couple of years. He's only 5'10?

Couldn't find many pictures of him.
But from this one, it looks like he's starting young and HEAVY.

I see that his fights were at 202lbs.
If that's him at 202lbs he has no business in the heavyweight division.

Another fat fat fatty to go along with Cris and Fat Eddie. Is this really the best our country has to offer?

He obviously has some skills, if he slimmed down he could apply those skills at light heavyweight.
