As always Calzaghe fan boys are the onestalking about who ducked who .

Why didn't Joe ever fight Frankie Liles when he was at Super Middle or Darius when he was at light heavy ?

When have I ever excused Jones' ducking of opponents. The only reason you know about Nunn is because of me

You took the bait, and now you're getting more and more wound up

They're not Calzaghe fanboys, they're obvious trolls.
Look at knockout artist's posts, he's in the process of admitting to being a troll.
Nobody actually thinks Roy Jones jr is anything less than one of the top 10 best boxers of all time.
Anybody that claims otherwise is clearly trolling

Agenda: prove that Calzghe is the best fighter at smw:

Method of attack:
1: Promote and defend Calzaghe at all costs
2: Trash other smw's, especially Jones

Is RJJ great...YES....Is he top 10 ATG....Not even close...Likely not even top 25.....You must think boxing has existed for 25 years, to make such a claim....Boxing has a great history, read up on it!

01. SRR
02. Greb
03. Armstrong
04. Langford
05. Fitzsimmons
06. Charles
07. Benny Leonard
08. Pep
09. Duran
10. Louis
11. Ali
12. Moore
13. Gans

ESB did a P4P survey just over a year ago...RJJ did come in 16th, so just because you rate his greatness higher than most knowledgeble fans, does not make them trolls (although this thread has been troll infested on both sides)....For me he is 20-25 range, not out of disrespect for him, but rather in respect of boxing's illustrious history!

Yeah you're right, he's getting good exposure.

I saw highlights of Glen's final fight against Fonfara, and he looked awful. But you never know with a veteran like Glen, he alway comes to fight, and George hasn't fought anyone like that.
I read the reports but never saw it. I'd expect George to win on points.

Me too mate. I'm not going to pay for it.

Yeah fair enough mate, I thought Manny looked good against Bradley and won the fight, I think he'll look good again this weekend. I just don't think he has the same spark he had in 2009, I think the Margarito and Cotto fights took alot out of him
Yes, he's definitely lost a step. But the Bradley fight was a bit of a joke.

Yeah Purdy-Jones would have been a war! Carson Jones impressed me against Brook, he's rugged, can punch and he puts the pressure on non-stop. He reminds of Glen Johnson.
I like Carson, but it was Murray and Rees that I was really looking forward to seeing. That would have been a war too.

Whatever you get up to mate, have a good weekend
Thanks pal, you too!

Hi mate,

I've heard that, and the would have been a hell of a test for Roy. I don't think Roy would have been up for that. He had a lot of respect for Frankie, and Frankie was skilled and awkward.

But I've heard Levin say, he didn't want Roy negotiating with Don back then.

What do you think would have happened had they fought. Bad style match up for Roy. Apart from Tarver, I think Harding was one of Roy's toughest fights.

Regards, Loudon.

This is a fair post.

I have not been able to do my own P4P list, I start arguing with myself in the top 5.. But I have read lists that have Roy anywhere from 25-45 that i wouldn't try and dispute.

It is a shame though...

If Roy could just add Benn and DM to his resume.. we would be talking top 15 for sure IMO.. Two winnable fights too.

I think KO is pretty fair to Roy most of the time.

He will try to ruffle some feathers every now and again though.
