No?
Then STFU with your ¨Mayweather deserves full credit for beating Marquez¨ but hey, at least 140lber Josesito had a previous fight at 147 before moving up to 154 for the Canelo payday Little Marquez had no previous fights at 140 or 147 before facing Mayweather Canelo didn't cheat Josesito on the scales either, so more props to the ginger, dont you think? |

Marquez has gone on to more than show his worth at the 142 pounds he weighed in against Mayweather at.
Comparing Mayweather/Marquez and Alvarez/Lopez is dumb. As is giving Alvarez literally NO credit for the win. Great win? No. Top win when his career is said and done? Certainly not. Solid, respectable win? Yes. |

Marquez weighed 142 vs Floyd who weighed 146
and against Pac Marquez weighed 143 vs Pac who weighed 147 and we all saw what happened there. Also factor in Floyd had been off for 21 months and probably got his weight cutting wrong. I personally think Floyd should have made the weight but take into consideration he probably got it wrong but for the sake of those 2lbs I definitely don't see the fight being any different imo. So Floyd gets credit for the win..........Canelo hasnt been on a lay off and there is plenty of competition at 154lbs that he could have fought even when he took on Lopez he could have opted for Lara or Vanes or Trout. Mayweather took the Marquez fight because he wanted to prove he could beat Marquez easily whereas Pacquiao had 2 very very close fights. Canelo didnt really have a reason why he took the Lopez fight not a legitimate one imho anyway. |

A win's a win, so credit is due. He beat who was in front of him. Is it a great win? Nope. Same way Mayweather's win over Marquez isn't great.

Considering Mayweather largely outboxed Marquez, and Alvarez steamrolled the much smaller Lopez who clearly couldn't handle the power or size, there is a considerable difference
Also, Lopez =/= JMM |

yeah man cause Lopez is totally as good as JMM. Plus if Floyd shed those 2 pounds JMM would have knocked him the fuck out for sure instead of losing every second of every round.
