Both in their primes.
Mike in his early 20's when he used to knock out everyone he faced vs the Lennox that beat Ray Marcer & Tommy Morrison for 15 rounds. Discuss

Lewis mid/late KO/DQ.
Relatively easy nights work for him. This is the Tyson that went the distance with shot bonecrusher Smith and had a close fight with Tillis. |

95 Lewis had only just been KO'ed by McCall so I'd favour a peak Tyson to KO Lewis in a competitive fight. Lewis simply hadn't had the time to fix his flaws under Steward at that point.
I'd favour the Lewis of 97-00 to beat peak Tyson in a tough fight. Lewis' jab and uppercut will be enough to keep Tyson at bay. |

The style of Lennox Lewis would always give Iron Mike problems. Still, I think at that age Mike Tyson would still be favored to win.
Had it been Lennox Lewis around 98-99 I think I would favor him to win though. He did mature quite a bit under Steward. |
