How do you see a Haye vs Marciano and 1988 Holyfield vs Marciano fights going?

Holyfield beats him, maybe David Haye too, but they are natural heavyweights. Guys like Qawi, Vasily Jirov, De Leon, and Hernandez he beats. Toney would be interesting. Michael Spinks and Roy Jones might turn the trick as well.

Ovids.....why do you think Holy and Haye are heavyweights...if not for massive amounts of protein...weight training...and most likely..something extra....neither would be in shape heavyweights.

Marciano/Holyfield would be competitive. Marciano/Haye might of been fun, if David landed the Hayemaker. Marciano/Qawi could of been good for a few rounds if Dwight was in the mood. The rest, I would not be too fussed about.

David Haye is a natural cruiserweight I'm afraid.

I think he beats them all, with the majority of them wins coming by knockout. Holyfield and Michael Spinks would be his stiffest tests and might take it down to the wire on the cards, but Rocky always found a way to win

Over 12 I could imagine Holyfield edging it but he was too quick to start brawling and couldn't outwork Marciano, he'd need to fight very smart something he didn't do much of at CW. I can't believe anybody could pick Haye he'd get hit on the arm by Marciano and be fighting to survive.

I disagree that Holyfield couldn't outwork marciano. At cruiser, at his peak, his punch output was every bit the Rocks equal.

If he was born the same time as Marciano and did nothing but run, spar and hit the bag like Marciano I wouldn't be suprised if he would be a Light Heavy.

I disagree with you disagreeing, nobody his size could outwork Marciano over the course of a 15 round fight. Holyfield's output was exclusive to 1-2's and the occasional spurt, albeit these spurts particularly at CW could be lengthy, they were nonetheless just spurts of action and after a spurt Holy became defensive to catch his breath. Marciano on the otherhand was a very constant sort of workrate, every second he was moving in and throwing punches never allowing any sort of rythm to start, never allowing punching room, never allowing his opponent to catch his breath and when he had his man in trouble he'd just throw an insane amount of punching to break them down, I've never seen Holyfield throw as much punches as Marciano did in say the 6th round of the Moore fight.

The Qawi fight has Holyfield as busy as anybody that size.

Marciano would be top dog. His toughest fight would against Holyfield, which would be an all out war, but I see Rocky getting the better of it due to his power. Holyfield could whack, Marciano could devastate. Marciano would be doing more damage with 1 shot than Evander would with 2, and with the way Evander tends to walk into big shots, it would lead to some difficult moments. It'd most likely go the distance, but I see Evander getting rocked really hard a few times and maybe even dropped.

Edge in speed, footwork, and combinations goes to Holyfield. Chin and defense are even, but the rest goes to Marciano.
