GBP wants Mosley to have a belt so when Amir is ready to move up to WW they can make the fight. Khan/Mosley believe it or not could actually do good numbers, and GBP is banking on it. It will also benefit Mosley because he would get another hefty payday. Khan vs Mayweather will then have atleast a meaning with Khan holding a belt. GBP is just another TR in the making.

This will look like Mosley-Mora. What an awful style match up. Mosley is at his best with come forward brawlers who have little to no defense.
Mosley vs Rios, Alvarado, Maidana, Soto-Karrass, Zaveck, Cano, etc. These are the type of styles Mosley would actually have some success against. But at this age I don't know how much success. I'd love to see Khan vs Mosley though. If you're going to rebuild Khan, might as well do it against an old, faded, past his best, puncher. He'd get more credit for beating Mosley than beating this unknown Molina imposter. |
