Default Timothy Bradley

Why the hell hasn't he fought, and who is his next opponent?

It seems like talented up and comers (bradley, dirrell) just drop out of the game forever. Can't be good to be out that long.

It's Bob Arums fault. I think Bradley is a fitness freak so he'll be ok for taking a long break out.

He wants big fights and doesn't want to risk losing to a guy that won't get him superstar money. One thing about Bradley, though. He's not a superstar.

Well, it hasn't been that long, and he did decline the opportunity to fight Peterson.

And he was pretty badly injured in his last fight.

And was it Bradley who didn't want the rematch?

Hit it right on the nose. THe problem with boxing today is that everyone is trying to land the big fight. But Bradley, although I think he is very good, is very boring and not popular at all. So boxing is becoming the sport where fighters will be out a longer time than usualy because they can't get the fight they want. There are so many fights at 140/147 its ridiculous. Great stat last night was to hear that Donaire fought 4 times this year. What popular fighter is doing that? Suspect Bradley will get back into the mix at some point because he is the champion. I'd rather see Bradley/Malinoggi than Malinoggi/Mosley being talked about. Or even maybe Bradley/Mosley?

Good post, but I disagree he has excellent appeal. Great defence, Great stance, excellent conditioning and an amazing role model.

Its not enough for him to draw in the average boxing fan though is it. Where as the likes of Pacquiao have an exciting style which the plastic boxing fans like to see.
