Or disagree? I have a stomach-feeling intuition that Andy will lose a fight next year, and not necessearily against top opposition. I'm not saying Pavlik will beat him (he could, he's very live and teak tough) but I think Andrew is due for a loss,
call it a gut feeling or fate, but I predict Andre ward will lose a fight and become sad in 2013 what do you boxing experts think

I really don't see who should trouble him.. Kessler and Froch are both very good fighters, but neither of them stood a chance. And I don't really see anyone from 160-175 that is much better than Kessler or Froch.

Soon as he steps up he will! Dirrell probably stops him, Dawson cruises past him at 175, Cloud and Pascal plainly hit too hard for him and Chavez Jr is too strong which is Wards greatest strength!
Hes not gonna fight any of these though unfortuantely. Last edited by D_Andrade; 12-12-2012 at 05:14 AM. |

At 175 he'd be fighting bigger guys so while it's no sure thing, there'll be a feasible chance. I thought Froch might be able to hurt him, but apart from gassing in the last few rounds Ward was fine. So Ward needs to prove himself in Nottingham now

Disagree.
Far crazier things have happened, but I'd make Ward an overwhelming favorite over everybody from 160-175. Martinez, Golovkin, Chavez Jr, Pavlik, Oosthuizen, DeGale, Dirrell, Froch, Bute, Kessler, Dawson at 175, Hopkins, Campillo, Cloud, Sillakh, Grachev, Pascal, Cleverly, Erdei, Shumenov...you name it, I think Ward beats them handily. It helps that he prepares well and always displays great mental focus and determination. Makes the chances of suffering an upset loss even lower. |
