Lookin back on him now rewathcing he could do everything decent. He had fast upperbody defensive movement, It was very fast twitch, moving side to side he looks impressive, he could get out of the way an weave very good. He would get caught an go crazy an wanna trade, his skills are a little underrated.

Yes, very much so.

He just liked to be in them type brawls that entertain people.. like my father always says: "Arturo may not have been the best, but he sure as hell was the best to watch".

He could have been way better. not that he was bad. but hes a trainers dream. He just got wreckless. His upperbody movement is really impresssive when you look at it.

People seem to have forgotten that he was groomed to be a boxer from very early. He just had the temperament of a honey badger.

Gatti operated in a very aesthetically pleasing way from time to time. The upper body movement you mentioned and his fluidity throwing crisp combinations with nice fundamental technique. Solid up-jab, too.

Totally agree,very fluid boxer,lovely movement,also threw very accurate punches,just loved a war..

Definitely one of the most fun to watch, but everytime he fought elite competition (ie Floyd and Oscar) he looked like fish out of water.

He was very fast up top . an he would move but he didnt choose too. talent was all there an his up jab was really great. it wasnt your regular standard jab he had bad intentions behind it

Very fast on his feet an that can be a bad or good thing. Gatti of course would come in straight ahead an get clipped. He didnt use angles well. He looks so brilliant at times

Could of been way better than he was, his skills very underrated IMO when he wanted to box he could, but his heart and willingness to fight can never be questioned thats why he's a fans favourite and always will be, I miss the guy will never forget the memories and legacy he left behind.
