Default would froch's record and stock be as good now if there wasnt a super 8

i still reckon it would still be close to what it is now. his career was starting to take off before it. he had fights with taylor and pascal.

what fights do you reckon wouldn't of happened if not for this tournament

it took him like 6 years to get world title shot and only recently hes been getting limelight. his management promotors were shite

No, not quite.

But I don't think he'd have been an Allegedly type champion.

I mean, he went to the States to take on Taylor in his first defence, before the S6 started. Taylor was willing to withdraw from the purse bids if a deal couldn't be reached - and wait for an alternative title opportunity rather than potentially have to come here.

Froch could have said ''I'm champion, if I win the bids get a passport'', but didn't.

You could have asked the same question about Ward.

It doesn't really matter, because he chose to enter the Super 6. Nobody forced him, it was his choice, he knew the risks and was willing to take them.

Ward would have had more trouble getting recognised than Froch imo.

I have a feeling that the guys behing the scenes in the states knew the deal with Ward though, as the entire super 6 was set up to favour him, at the time everyone ignored it because they thought Ward was just some average prospect who kessler would banjo
