I saw this kid for the first time on the Brook-Saldivia undercard in his what was his.... THIRD pro fight I think. Even then, it impressed just how damn talented he clearly is. He's only a had half a dozen fights yet he already looks like he could challenge for a British title. He just looks the full part, has good movement, good anticipation, hits hard and picks his shots very well. British boxing's next big star, absolutely convinced of that.

Like what this kids about.
Showing obvious raw talent, a lot of it is fairly superficial observations and we don't have a deep understanding of his level yet due to competition... but for raw tools, he's up there. I admire his honesty, maturity in terms of his approach in the ring. He doesn't **** about, which I like in prospects against outmatched opposition. You should be dispatching these as quickly as possible and fighting often to make it clear its time to progress. It's about seek and destroy, its not about plodding around throwing jabs, just my opinion. That comes in the gym, and against somebody like Jason Booth. |
