Well Naseem was pretty much bored with boxing at that point, but he still managed to come away with a points loss to MAB. The Marquez fights have always been close up until Marquez knocked Pacquiao out. So I would go with the latter.

This is hillarious. Hamed never proved himself against anyone resembling elite whether prime or not.
Pacquiao is 20X the fighter Hamed ever was. Current Pacquiao, and I'm talking post Marquez 4 destroys Hamed every wish way! I'd say Hamed is one of the most overrated fight hypes in boxing history, thats whay I think of Hamed. He's a fraud tha quit boxing the first time he was ever tested. |

JMM vs Manny easily. Hamed wasn't a bum obviously, but divac's point on his actual accomplishments is valid overall. Hamed's best win overall is probably his war against Kevin Kelley, who was a pretty good fighter but nowhere near elite. The only elite opponent he faced soundly defeated him and Hamed retired one fight later. Pretty much tells you all you need to know about Hamed's actual level. Manny has been slipping obviously, but was still among the top 5 P4P fighters in the world at the least, had been debatably number one for years, and has a vast resume of very good/elite wins at a lot of weight classes. Plus while not seen as unbeatable no fighter had really hurt Manny in any significant way since he moved up to Welterweight.

However, he is correct in saying that JMM's victory was much better over a much greater boxer. I don't think it's even a close comparison. It's not that the result was such an upset. Going into the fight, this was almost a pick'em proposition, with Pac a slight favourite. It was the manner in which JMM defeated Pac that makes the win great. |

I agree JMM's victory was better but the amount is horrendous nonsense spouted by morons about Nas is retarded. He isn't even remotely overrated considering people still claim is was utterly destroyed by Marco and that his loss somehow negates his entire career to the point that some even rate Gatti higher.
