Gatti had the better career. Gatti did everything in ring, Hamed was more about his entrances, his trash talk, and his annoying shit out of people.

Indeed. Gatti got in before Hamed because he is more liked by the voters.

Sometimes we build the Hall of Fame into this mythical, pearly-gated place, when all judgement day really consists of is a bunch of writers looking at names on a ballot and ticking off the ones that they like. The quality of IBHOF is limited by the knowledge and personal bias of the voters.

Gatti being inducted before (eg) Curry is both ridiculous and perfectly understandable, depending on how you look at it.
