He may be very fat but he's throwing combinations like Sugar Ray Leonard... During his amateur career, Ruíz ran his record to 104-8 under Cuban trainer Fernando Ferrer. He went on to win two Mexican National Junior Olympics gold medals and won the World Ringside Heavyweight Championship. Andy represented Mexico in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games qualifying. |

Though he is a "small" heavyweight by todays standards, but he has a lot of handspeed so that might even it all out. Especially if he has potential to become very skilled. |

I did watch his fights and he really has fast hands and nice combinations, but that will get you only so far. He kinda surprised me, I thought he being talked just because he is so bad people mock him for fun..
But he is gonna get destroyed if he does not get in better shape. He is like big seal in current condition All the best for this combatant thou!

Looks like another Arreola but shorter with faster hands. Looking at his record seems hes going the padded record route just like Chris too. Have Ruiz and Wlder fight so we can get rid of one of them, id expect Ruiz to shatter Wilder's glass.
