Default How did scoring a fight work back in 60's?

I've a couple of times when i was on boxrec that some fights had scoring that i have no idea how it works for example Eder Jofre vs Fighting Harada which Harada won a SD back in 1965 with scorecards of 71 to 69, 72 to 70 and 71 to 72 but this isn't the 10 point system

That would have been a 5 point must system mate. In this case probably a **** load of drawn rounds.

One thing I do know is that the scoring was just as corrupt then as it is now.
Although the frequent use of draw rounds made it a little bit fairer.

2 of the greats you named there.....how exciting was harada...i tell everyone who raves about pacquaio to look him up....and only man to beat the great jofre....and this is how good jofre was, after the 2nd loss to harada he retired for 3 years....came back and had a winning streak which peaked with winning a featherweight title above his prime weight..at age 37... and never lost again

anyway..i digress from your main point.
