I feel like Pac Floyd would just have this negativity around it...
Everyone knows it should have been done sooner and, to be honest, there would not be much expectation of a competitive fight. Pac Marquez V on the other hand would have great angles... redemption... two ATGs throwing down again... IMO this fight would be a showcase of all the best boxing has to offer. |

NO need for a rematch. Marquez has always been the better boxer. Regardless of the drug allegation. Pacquiao was KTFO by a beautiful counter by Marquez as he has always done in their 3 fights. No coincidence, its just this time Marquez was hell lot stronger, not only the better boxer. But also the stronger puncher by help of Heredia? maybe..but Marquez has always had the better style and skills of the two.
Marquez >Pacquiao. |

At this stage Pac vs Marquez 5 is bigger then Pac vs Froid.
Froid ducking has turned the fight off and with Pac recent KO loss the fight is at an all time low. Pac vs Marque 5 = everybody will want to watch it. |

this is a great question. I would say so. I mean, thinking like a casual fan, intrigue for pac-may diminished greatly with jmm's knockout of pacquiao, the same guy mayweather dominated. from a hardcore fan's perspective, pacquiao hasn't been delivering good results, while mayweather has been performing. from both perspectives, mayweather looks the superior fighter, clearly, whereas a couple of years ago they were on the same plateau.
on another note, pacquiao and jmm are so evenly matched, as evidenced by the fact that they've fought four times and leading up to the perfectly timed right hand ko shot, there was a clear, exciting ebb and flow to the action. casual and hardcore fans alike want to see if jmm can repeat his shocking win, perhaps in the same fashion, or if manny can exact revenge. it's very, very personal now. |
