I think they've been carefully nursing this fight (Floyd-Canelo) for a while now and want it to hit at it's hottest point with both of their 0's intact. That's a damn good point (re: Cotto-Saul) but perhaps after two convincing Cotto losses, it's now best served being billed as the co-feature of Floyd-Guerrero.

Cotto can't deal with real 154 lbs fighters and isnt comfortable making 147. He's a Canelo beatdown waiting to happen. I'd be amused if GBP tries to sell that fight separately at this point. If he'd beaten Trout, it's different.

What Floyd wants, Floyd gets. If they want Canelo-Cotto separate, it's not May 4th.
