For a re**** like yourself who cant appreciate the intricasies of world class boxing this might be true. Maybe you just havent actually watched any boxing apart from your league heroes.

Ill admit the standard of boxing in this country does leave alot to be desired but not to the point where footy players fighting is more entertaining than the guys who train their asses off as fighters.

Once again, tell me why you bother posting on a BOXING forum?

its actually a good fit. qualified, tough, big, strong athletes. why wouldnt some of them become very good?

harold brazier proved in the 90s that you can start as a pro at 26yo with no am exp and STILL fight for a world title. harold had 2 shots. both against roger mayweather. they were absolute wars.

my belief is this is how we are going to unearth a future world heavyweight champ. some time in the next 20 years.

have a look at paul gallen in the league vs union thread i started. paul is a 5'11 heavy having his first pro fight. (same height as smokin joe) EVERY club in the NRL would have a potential world class fighter if they swapped codes and dedicated themselves to boxing.

Tony Mundine never played in any NRL...

1. because the NRL wasnt even invented &
2. He never even played first grade or any grade for that matter, i believe he came down to trial with Souths, never made it & boxed

Dont shoot the messenger mate

I'm merely telling the truth that the majority of punters sitting around having a beer or having a punt at the pub or club etc are going to spark up a lot more readily if a fight night like this comes on rather than watching 99% of professional boxers fighting at some club in western sydney etc, do you not agree??ly you cant be that blinkered??

Except My Good Self, you sad and boring Weird_O.
If fights were like this all the time , you would watch them?
Another sofa dwelling rugby fan pretending he likes boxing.
Common as muck in Sydney i'd say, since Choc retired from rugby.

you?? are you serious?? you seem to have delusions of granduer son

Yes, i'd find them more interesting than watching some nobody fight another nobody, as would most everyday punters i'd suggest & i guarantee it would be the same in Melbourne, like i said, there are three or four boxers that would be somewhat known by name by a fair percentage in Australia & thats all, so what generates the interest??

Yeah its common as muck here all right & your suggestion that its all chocs fault since he retired from rugby LEAGUE is bang on the money kid

I rarely say anything with any certainty but in this case i am absolutely sure i am your intellectual superior. I have cringed at your mangling of the English language on this forum - often in the same sentence that you accuse someone else of being stupid.

bahaha why_dope_n_rode is an attention ***** and nothing more.

If he was half as smart as he likes to think he is he'd get a life instead of posting on a forum bagging other posters for posting on said forum.

IronKnee is something he simply cannot grasp
