I like its entertainment value and it isnt easy being a pro dancer. It gets them a paycheck and a venue to perform and exposure, support the arts.

Why is Babacar Kamara fighting for England?

He's consistently fought for Sweden in the amateurs.

Every team has a couple non Nationals. There is no Scandanavian team so they have to fight for someone.

I didn't mind it that much. It was brief, and the girls were kinda cute.

They flashed the graphics with the judges' nationality flags very quickly - looked like Russia, Italy & Mexico?

Round 1

Ilnytskyy is pressing in with a tight guard, jabbing McGoldrick in the head. Wide underhand slaps to the body by McGoldrick, recognizing that Ilnytskyy's head is an unlikely target. Ilnytskyy dips and weaves his way in, swooping his upper body low and resurfacing with jabs and looping rights to the face of McGoldrick all while keeping a very tight and thin shell in between punches, elbows mere inches apart. McGoldrick scores a counter jab as Ilnytskyy comes forward, while getting pushed back. Leaping right hand slaps over the top by Ilnytskyy as McGoldrick jabs on the back foot. Ilnytskyy is slowed down by a side-wound right to the body, McGoldrick really swiveling his hips into it. Right hand up top by Ilnytskyy, and McGoldrick counters with a flurry. Ilnytskyy pokes up straight jab pressing in and McGoldrick slaps him with a hook to the temple.

10-9 McGoldrick, he managed to get into a pretty steady rhythm about halfway in.

Reminder: the WSB uses pro-style scoring...not the hit-counting used in the amateurs up through last year's London Olympics.

Round 2

Ilnytskyy is jabbing and diving in with his gloves curled over the top of his head. McGoldrick is waving hooks at him and sliding his feet back to get into better range. Right to the body by McGoldrick, now pushing Ilnytskyy back across the ring. Nice body flurries by McGoldrick coming forward, slipping and turning side to side as Ilnytskyy tries to mount a counterattack. They press together and Ilnytskyy gets in a short uppercut but is knocked back by a partially blocked 1-2. Right scoop to the body by McGoldrick. Whipping triplet to the coif by McGoldrick.

10-9 McGoldrick, but Ilnytskyy connected with some hooks and opened a cut on his eye.

20-18 McGoldrick

Open scoring:

Judge 1 has it 20-18 McGoldrick.

Judges 2 & 3 both gave Ilnytskyy the 2nd (which was close) and have it 19-19.

they show the actual judges scores each round

1 has it 2-0 McGoldrick

Round 3

Ilnytskyy is hurtling forward trying to land an overhand, rolling his shoulders as he throws. McGoldrick pumps out straights at him while taking a step back to steady himself but then standing firm as he gets off. Ilnytskyy keeps backing out to reset and then collapsing back inside with overhands, most careening off McGoldrick's shoulders as McGoldrick tries to time him with straights and jabs that graze or miss Ilnytskyy's face. Not much clean going on, a few stray lucky bombs either way. Up for grabs in the last minute. Several crisp jabs by McGoldrick, piercing through Ilnytskyy's guard and backing him up. Flurry by McGoldrick, his gloves parried and slapped away by Ilnytskyy but McGoldrick is pressing it.

10-9 McGoldrick

30-27 McGoldrick

Round 4

Ilnytskyy is jumping in sweeping out both hands. McGoldrick backs up and unrolls a few jabs, then sprinkles in the cross. Ilnytskyy is hooking away at McGoldrick's chest to get inside. Both men are now cut. Flush jab by McGoldrick as they trade, his traveling faster and more directly. Ilnytskyy is held outside by a soft double jab to the guard, and McGoldrick bends in for a right to the body. Ilnytskyy walks forward and ties McGoldrick up, carrying him toward the ropes until the ref splits them. Combos worked by McGoldrick on the outside, double jabs and slapping rights over the top. NICE 1-2 by McGoldrick, catching Ilnytskyy on a lateral step and momentarily staggering him off balance. Wild shots by Ilnytskyy coming forward, missing. He then switches to defense and nimbly ducks several of McGoldrick's straight counters, almost dipping down past his waist.

10-9 McGoldrick

40-36 McGoldrick
