For the sake of not clogging up the board, and making it a bit faster, I will be using multiple fights in a thread, with multiple options for people to vote. I will not vote, other than to break a tie. The draw was done at random, and with no one seeded.

Just one final thing, it is a 70's tournament, thus try and analyse the fighters at their 70s peak, even if they peaked in their career before or after the decade.

I will use this thread to update the results of the tournament.

The first round draw is listed below:

Duane Bobick Vs Jimmy Young Young
George Chuvalo Vs Al 'Blue' Lewis Chuvalo
Michael Dokes Vs Henry Cooper Dokes
Jimmy Ellis Vs Ken Norton Norton
Alfredo Evangelista Vs Oscar Bonavena Bonavena
Jose Luis Garcia Vs Jack Bodell Garcia
Leroy Jones Vs Jose Manuel Urtain Jones
Boone Kirkman Vs Chuck Wepner Kirkman
Scott LeDoux Vs Mac Foster LeDoux (Tossup)
Ron Lyle Vs Gerrie Coetzee Coetzee (Could go either way)
Bernardo Mercado Vs Gregorio Peralta Mercado
Floyd Patterson Vs Earnie Shavers Shavers (Floyd is old by this time)
John Tate Vs Ossie Ocasio Tate
Mike Weaver Vs Joe Bugner Weaver
Roy Williams Vs Kallie Knoetze Knoetze
Lorenzo Zanon Vs Jerry Quarry Quarry
Picks are above.
