He's 35 and, after 10 years, still making some noise. He beat Junior Witter, DeMarcus Corley, Cory Spinks. He lost against Baldomir, Mayweather and Cotto, but then had a second chance against Matthyse and Vernon Paris. Is he a Hall of Famer? A very good or great fighter? He's certainly fast. I remember Judah-Mayweather was very hyped because they were archenemies. |

He'll be in the HOF.
Judah has had a good career, which is looked down upon because the expectations were so high to begin with. People saw a flash of speed and power and got too excited. 'Sweat Pea with power' was a hell of a burden for any young prospect. Judah suffered and suffers from what I call the curse of the gifted. He pulls straight back from punches, and has a few other glaring technical flaws, which were always going to hamper his career. All in all, he'll probably go down as a 'What could of been' fighter, but he has had a very accomplished career. |

I already hold him in a good account. I just hope he gives a good showing in his fight with Danny, win or lose. Then rides off into the sunset.

Used to be a big fan but he's a dumb fighter and a dumb person. And he had no intentions on even fighting Khan, much like Hopkins has done previously. Have no respect for a fighter who does that.

Probably the most wasted talent in boxing of the past 20 years, but he still keeps getting chances. He was super-hyped up from 2000-2001 before being flattened by Tszyu and he never really got over that loss. More recently his effort against Khan was abysmal and his win against Paris was excellent, so who knows which Zab Judah will turn up against Garcia?

He's good enough to make good fights.
I'm impressed by how he isn't completely shot after all his losses throughout the years combined with his age and reliance on athletic gifts |

His skills. abilities and talent are greater than his sometimes disipointing results. He's good enough to beat just about anyone at 140. However he is also very beatable.
I rember when he first started. He was billed as Pernell Whitaker with power. While he has the talent. He has not lived up to the hype. |

I love his talent(good handspeed power and footwork),but he blew hot or cold, mails in fights, and was his own worst enemy too many times. With that said, he still had a pretty good career and picked up some pretty good wins. If they let in Gatti,Little Red Lopez and a few other fringe contenders that had less belts than him, he will probably get in the HOF just not on the first ballot. Overall, his career reminds me of Tyson's career without all the outside the ring problems.

He has been boxing since he was little kid. His father was Karate guy, but would take all his male kids to gym (I think there were 3 sons) and have them train under him from about age 7. Zab was successful, but I think he will have more trouble than many in ad******g to not being a boxer anymore. I don't think he ever even played any other sports much, just been boxing since he can remember. Also a bit of a street guy, used to like to party late in some shady clubs (nothing wrong with that) Street smart too, when soem guy tried to rob him with gun, he just ran and left guy standing there.
I would like to see him retire, but how many times do we say that about boxers? Same for hoping he saved some money. I hope he did, he deserves it. Has been in sport whole life, I'd like t see him get out while still healthy. A big win now would be nice, but it would also lead to him hanging around even longer. That 's the sad side to the sport. |

Zab hasn't got seriously hurt in a number of years now. Good for him. He gets many chances at championship gold but doesn't capitalise on them. He seen all flavours/styles of boxers. This is his last shot.

I think that the Tszyu fight robbed him of his self-belief. He really did look and sound like a special fighter on the way up prior to that. His mental focus and even his conditioning seemed much better earlier in his career.
