Even though he dominated Froch I would like a rematch in the UK. I am not saying it will be any different but as Froch has had 2 decsive victories since I think it would be fair. I like Ward he has skills and I doubt anyone at that weight will beat him. So its move up or down depending where the money fights are he deserves.

I'd like to say him dismantle JCC Jr. :
I'm still interested in the Pavlik fight. Even if it's just a name on a resume. If he can fight JCC Jr. / Pavlik (coupled with his should injury) that should bring him to this point next year. He might have Andre Dirrell on tap by then and hopefully something... interesting |

What i want for Ward is retirement. The guy deserves it. He's seen the world, fought everyone, got payed like the superstar that he is, fought in front of 4 000 people, never ducked anyone, called out Dawson at 168 and Martinez at 168, beat the corpse of Dawson, i mean, what else is there for him?
Much respect to Froch, Kessler and even Bute for taking big fights in someone elses backyard. Retire, Ward, its not like you fight too much anyway and boxing became boring enough for casual viewers without seeing you. Take Dirrell with you and go find God together. |

Dawson at 175 and Froch- kessler winner to keep him busy. Then down the line 2014 Groves and degale if they got some big wins. im sure maybe some middle weights cud move up to fight him eventually. Chavez jr. Golovkin. Quillin. Macklin. Trout . Geale etc
martinez said he will never go past 160 and ward says he will not move down. |

He doesnt need to fight Bute, unless Bute can beat Froch in a rematch.
Fight the winner of Kessler/Froch. Dirrell if he can get back, what he had. And groove on up to 175. |

He had his chance to move up in weight to fight Chad Dawson for the WBC 175 belt but chose to drag him down instead, i doubt hes moving up anytime soon but he has plenty of options at 168 and 175
He should fight one or two of the following : 1. Adonis Stevenson 2. Thomas Oosthuzien 3. Edwin Rodriguez 4. George Groves 5. James Degale 6. Andre Dirrell 7. Anthony Dirrell 8. Gennady Golovkin 9. Nathan Cleverly at 175 - WBO Light Heavyweight Title 10. Tavoris Cloud at 175 - IBF Light Heavyweight Title 11. Jean Pascal at 175 - Possibly for WBC Light Heavyweigh Title 12. Bernard Hopkins at 175 13. Lucien Bute at either 168/175 14. Isaac Chilemba at 175 15. Tony Bellew at 175 16. Beibut Shumenov at 175 - WBA Light Heavyweight Title 17. Andrzrej Fonfara at 175 18. Gutknecht/Braehmer at 175 19. Gabrielle Campillo at 175 20. Karo Murat at 175 Should he manage to win these 2 fights he should then at least rematch the winner of Kessler/Froch II be it at 175 or 168. Theres not exactly a shortage of challangers for Ward but he chose to fight a washed up alcoholic former middleweight champion in Pavlik (which has thankfully been called off for good) Kessler and Froch may have their hands tied with their rematch and the IBF Mandatory but im not sure if the IBF would allow Kessler/Froch to fight another unification and thus bypassing the mandatory (Stevenson) Ward could come to the UK or Denmark to silence any doubts and would make more money sense as Froch and Kessler draw in more money in their hometowns than Ward does in his, Its not all just about the home advantage. |
