Default Any word on why Tor Hamer let everyone down and quit?

There has been no anything! No injury talk,no statements,no interviews.

What's the deal? Is boxing just too hard for him?

He's made one post on his official Twitter since the night of the Glazkov loss, and it was about him cheering on the New York Knicks. (four nights later)

You'd think it would be something he'd want to address with a public statement, one way or the other. Even if it wasn't an injury, something in the way of self-explanation...

Can't believe no one (including myself) checked his website:

"On Saturday, December 22, Tor suffered his second lose to Vyacheslav Glazkov. The opportunity for this fight was too good to pass up and Tor was unfortunately not at 100% during the fight. Tor was under the weather the week before due to the flu but came out strong in the fight. Two judges had the score cards tied at 38-38 after 4 rounds but the sickness caught up to Tor and unfortunately had to let go of the fight."

Looks like he had the flu.

I really thought about it for the first few days, often, and checked around several times to see if he'd said anything. I'd think he'd be more likely to address it immediately if there were a valid explanation. I was getting a bit high on Hamer, like I think you were, but, honestly, if that was simply a quit job, as it looked, he should have his purse suspended and be blackballed from television dates. Is that too harsh of me? I just think if he wasn't excusably injured, he basically willfully cheated everyone there, himself and the TV station included and he wouldn't deserve his pay or another opportunity.

Certain strains of influenza are no joke.

I almost died from one.

This, however, sounds like bullshit. He was feeling well enough to look normal for several minutes...then Glazkiv imposes his style and lands sme power punches and "whoops, flu. Just sorta caught up to me. "
