Vitali knows whether he is fit enough to fight another fight or not. If he is going to fight Haye, he knows he is going to win. Vitali does not live in dreamland. He knows he is aging but still he is in good shape as well and still has all the goods it needs. His reflexes are still there, his accuracy is still there and his ring generalship cannot be taken from him anyways.

Love how Lewis fans claim he was suddenly ancient
Yes Lewis was heavy, but fat?... I don't think so. It was Lewis' fault for being arrogant regarding the Klitschko's. Vitali was the first live opponent Lewis faced since Holyfield......., Grant, Botha, Rahman and Tyson he isn't. Remember Lewis fans, he is like a fine wine.... well that's when he's dismantling what's left of Tyson, you can't suddenly say he's shot when he actually fights someone who's not turned up for the payday. As for the thread if I was Vitali id retire, good career, made his money and he is actually looking old, he doesn't owe anyone anything. |

Vitali was picked between Wlad and him. But prime for prime, Lewis > Wlad > Vitali > (almost anyone) Maybe if he proves himself some more I put Wlad above Lewis. |

Well wlad is still as good as ever.
Vitali has slipped noticeably in recent fights I mean chisora gave him all he can handle. If Vitali feels he's too old he should retire. As it is, fighting him is the only realistic chance of getting a belt. |

Lewis had always had trouble with people who can match or better his jab, plus Klitschko's height and strength was causing him problems. How often have you seen Lennox pushed back in the clinches, and Vitali was walking him back. As you said though prime for prime Lewis>Wlad>Vitali, but Wlad is closing the gap. |

If he carries on and the Haye fight isn't made it would probably be Fury or Arreola again, would he be able to get up for those kinds of fights? |

If these are the guys you are saying he should be fighting I'm not surprised you think the rest of his resume is great
