One if not the best fight that can be made @ cruiserweight today.
An excellent stylistic matchup. I really hope Eddie can adapt to the cruiser's speed & movement in his very first fight at the weight. Lebedev progressed a lot since the Huck fight. Tszyu polished his style and dude can definitely bang. I'm picking Lebedev by late stoppage after a close fight. |

Lebedev knocks out Chambers.
The turn around on this forum is ridiculous, guys who used to mock 'fat eddie' and post videos of him being dropped by Wlad now cheerlead the man just because he posts on a website. |

Yeah, you are right, exposure is very important, for example Pirog was really happy to fight in USA. Also Lebedev is 33 years old and its time for big fights, big risks and big money.

Eddie via UD, i dont see him stopping Lebedev but he must outbox him since shot RJJ did good at times and we all know thats just shadow of a man Roy once was.

It's been showing cracks the last few years. He was stunned at one point against Matthew Greer, and several times against Bobby Gunn. In this excerpt you can see a few hooks to both head and body to which he reacts poorly: At this stage Chambers is superior to Toney all-around: offense, defense, speed, and chin. |

Chambers shouldn't get a title shot right away, hes still unproven in the division... I like Eddie but Lebedev is going to beat him within 10. He should fight a guy like Drodz or Herelius to test the waters, and not fight the best fighter(imo) in the division right away. Wrong move imo.

First of all, Eddie was a top 5 heavyweight and coming off a robbery loss in what should have been an acquisition of the IBF North American title (which itself was on the heels of an IBF HW title eliminator victory over Rossy...meaning Eddie should've been damn close to a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko). He doesn't need to prove anything at Cruiser. Second, Lebedev is underrated by some and in many fans' view (including mine) hasn't ever been truly bested in the ring - but he isn't on a much higher plane than Drozd. There is a bigger gap between Drozd and Herelius than between Lebedev and Drozd. Third, you're critical of a guy immediately going after the #1 in a division - especially where it's responding to a direct call-out?
