with all the stories regarding Pac and Parkinson
there is something i have to tell you guys
in the summer of '96 i lost a little bit of feeling in my right arm and leg
the leg only after i ran beyond the point of 10 km
went to my sport doctor who send me through to the world renowned UZ hospital in Leuven
after some tests the professor told me i suffered from Parkinson's disease
i was 21
the reason was genetic
my grandfather died of it
we are almost 17 years later
in those 17 years i brought life to 2 wonderful girls + worked and had several promotions + ran several marathons and still run everyday and do my sit and push ups
life hasn't changed a bit and i am still in stadium 1 of the disease
always i have that numb feeling on my right side but i learned to live with it
you can still have a perfect life with Parkinson and do all the things somebody else do
a doctor telling Pac has the disease just from watching him on the tv is bullshit
but i sincerely hope that every fighter regularly undergoes neurological tests and gets checked for it
these guys have given us many wars
they have the right to retire with the best possible health condition they can have

Great story David! I'm glad you're doing okay and hopefully it stays that way. That doctor, Rustico was it? had no right to say such a thing without a proper examination, shame on him
