Good list.

Personally I have almost the same one:

1. Mayweather
2. Ward (the only one I really think 'could' rival' or be even better than Floyd)
3. Marquez (we saw against Mayweather where his limit is, but he is still a damn good fighter)
4. Vitaly Klitscho (his ring intelligence is superb and he has in reality never been in the ring with someone who looked to be the better boxer than him... ever. Despite 2 losses on paper)
5. Donaire

Runners up: Chris John (clearly very good, but hard to assess because he does not always get high profile fights), and MArtinez (one of my favorite fighters and one I think Floyd has been avoiding. Still I put martinez down a bit because he relies a lot on physical attributes rather than boxing skills (but he is obviously technically good too).

Marquez behind Donaire and only one spot ahead the guy he knocked out.

Brother, Marquez hasn't done much for the past few years other than have a couple of close fights with Pacquiao. He was losing the last fight before the big right hand.

Doniare has jumped several divisions, won multiple titles and had 4 dominant victories this year over quality opposition.

Some of you rate one big win/lose too highly, have selective memory and don't pay attention to the details between the headlines. You don't build a p4p list based on a boxer's last fight, but rather what they've done over the past several fights/years.

Shut up.

TKO6.

How did Lewis not look better than him? He ripped Vitali's face in half and almost ripped his eyeball out of his socket.

For the record, my list (not in order) would have these fighters on it:

PBF
JMM
Ward
Donaire
Martinez

Any credible list would've had JMM top 5 prior to this fight. So yes, a spectacular KO of the 1 or 2 top PFP fighter should move you up at least a couple of spots. Deal with it.

No idea why vitali is up there after his last two performances .

I'd say:

Floyd
Marquez
Donaire
Ward
Martinez

Great list. Same as mine.

But what is this about Vitali's "last two performances?" Why do people love the performance Charr put up. He was going to be down 5 points when the 4th round concluded...

Chisora made him look average at times and charr was an un ranked nobody. That's not the form of a top 5 p4p fighter.

Why do people even bring Charr's name up at all. He was a nobody and no ones even heard of him before the match vs Vitali. Vitalis just facing cans/bums.

Really needs to step up his competition and fight Haye/Povetkin (Even if he loses to Wlad) etc.

If he doesn't GTFO OUT OF THE SPORT.

ON topic.

1. FMJ
2. Marquez
3. Ward
4. Martinez
5. Donaire

I think the top 5 is locked in tbh. There's not much room for anyone else in there.

The order is somewhat arguable really, Floyd has to be top and the rest can be shifted round.
