You know, I will be a Canelo fan if he fights Trout before Floyd. Trout is a definete risk and doesn't bring much to the table, money wise. There are many easier fights out there against opponents he can look good against. If he takes the fight, it will prove that he is willing to fight the best no matter at what cost and that is exactly what boxing needs.

I think I'm fairly pleased then.

He is taking care or his mandatory opponent at ww and taking part in the unification fight everyone is clamouring for at lmw.

I don't really have any issue if this comes off. Sure there are many better fighters than the ghost and it won't be competitive but if Floyd wants to keep his ww championship it's the fight he has to make I guess.

It's a weird situation because he's a massive level above everyone at 147 and the only way for him to be realistically challenged is if he is undersized against guys like canelo, trout, Molina and Lara. But you can't seriously hold it against a guy wanting to remain champ in his natural weight class.

Yeah all in all this is a worthy schedule for the p4p number 1.

ROACH , our cawks are waiting for you bro !

If Canelo will take Trout/Lara/Kirkland or Vanes before Floyd then he will get more respect.

Somebody said something about Angulo , who I think is more likely to be Canelo's next opponent.

Not trying to cause an argument just asking.

I don't think you clearly read it. I said there are many better fights than the ghost for Floyd to have in may. Those fights are

canelo
Trout
Lara
molina
Bundrage
Kirkland
Marquez
Bradley
Pacman
Alexander

Each of this I think poses more difficulty than ghost.

I then said if Floyd wants to keep his belt he has to face his mando so I can live with it.

Arum plans for Marquez-Pacquiao 5 in September.

Damn this would be an insane month if things go as planned.

Since I asked for WW's I'm gonna address those; Alexander isn't better than Ghost (besides he has a fight so not viable anyway).....I agree Bradley is but we both know that will never happen.....Marquez is better but he got schooled and there is no chance of the result changing.......Pacman just got put to sleep, no one wants to see that fight now.....Plus Floyd hasn't fought anyone coming off a loss (or even a draw) since 2006....I doubt he does it in 2013. Also Pacman is suspended so couldn't start preparing until sometime in April which would not leave enough time.

So really the many you were talking about turns out to be Bradley and Marquez as everyone else cant even fight Floyd in May.

I just wanted to point out you were going abit far!

Guerrero's win over Berto is a solid & better win than Bradley's arguable win over Pacquiao !
