Did I mention glossing that over with 3 cans? Like I say continue to ignore the big picture, continue to give Fedor the Iron Mike Treatment. That wasn't longevity it was a helluva fun, my men Anderson Silva and Hendo are dominating at an advanced age. Anderson Silva was ripening as Fedor was rotting, and there is just no way round that. |

I don't understand, I just don't understand how you can be the most talented Mixed Martial Artist ever and not be The Greatest. I'm not asking someone to explain this to me, stoo and Ne5 just give this a rest. You can try to explain, but you've proven to have some serious hangups when it comes to ranking fighters.
We can't fault the man for having one rival, we can't hold it against him for making it look all too easy. We can't hold the carrot that is JJ in front of him because the two are on a collision course. Like I said, it's a damn shame when we start placing GSP above Anderson Silva. GSP fights scared, and for that reason alone is why he should be nowhere near #2. I said my piece, and will do my best not to post anymore in this thread anymore. If I'm quoted I'll save it for later today, but I'm just disappointed in the way some of you view Anderson Silva's success. |

GSP runs the clock, smothers his opponents, and played the 1-2 game with a one eyed Koscheck. |

Except for the bit where he passes guard with ease and elbows muddfukkaz...like the Condit and BJ fights...advanced his position and those elbows were fight winners in both cases...
1/2 game eh...so JDS did the same against Carwin after hurting him early... |

Exhibit B, stoo. When have we ever seen The Great Anderson Silva look up at the clock in the middle of a fight that he was winning?
![]() Like JDS v Carwin, GSP couldn't finish the fight. Either because of a mental block or he just couldn't. But, what I do know is that he fights scared. |

It's about holding it against Anderson Silva for making it look so easy.
It's about running the clock, it's about the damage GSP receives in fights, it's about the highlight of your Title Defense being you eating a flying kick. Stoo, Anderson Silva is the #ing highlight reel, Anderson silva is the mother #ing man, and it's criminal to place GSP above him. Absolutely criminal. |

Silva generally looks more like this in the later rounds of fights he is dominating.

That was years ago, weak... GSP getting knocked down on a flying kick was spectacular! Like I said, Anderson Silva is the highlight reel, last time out GSP walked out looking a bloody pulp.
