I dont have a problem watching MMA, it can be entertaining at times, but if I had to choose between the two sports then hands down I would choose Boxing.

This. When I see it on and boxing isn't I'll turn it on to see if I get entertained.. When they're on the ground for more than a minute it's time to turn it off.

I tend to record UFC and watch it on x2 speed to get through the snuggling up on the canvass until they stand up again.

MMA isn't that competative...
Silva (a refined champ with real skills) is kicking ass at his old ripe age. Just so crude... Sometimes when they are throwing these lame punches and rolling around on the floor... Just like wadafack? |

In mma you can train for a few months or just be an internet sensation then become a champ in mma. For boxing, you at best can be a Micheal Grant if you didn't start boxing young. MMA is entertaining but when you have guys who close their eyes with their chins up with no "D" or stamina all the while going for broke of course it's going to be entertaining but boxing is by far the superior sport thats been here and will stay here long after.

I'm a fan of watching fights.
Be it Boxing or MMA. If both were on at the same time I'd watch Boxing 100%. (DVR MMA) |

i like ufc, and boxing
ufc you get really good undercard fights, and you might just see an arm break or something great like that. rather watch two named boxers though if i had to choose whether to go to a big UFC event or a big Boxing Event... id go UFC probably, guarenteed a good time. boxing, you just dont know, and might have shitty undercard. Edit: depends who was fighting, if it was Mayweather, id go boxing, anyone else, id have to see. Last edited by raichu; 01-08-2013 at 04:10 PM. |
