Has to be up there with the best, especially doing it twice. I also think Green never got the credit he deserved for going to Canada to hammer Lucas . Not in anyway saying its the best aussie win , far from it but Lucas was coming a very disputible SD loss to Beyer in Germany. I thought he clearly won. He was in that group between 1999-2003 of himself, Ottke and Beyer that were just a bit behind Calzaghe obviously. Very solid win for Green. Apologies for going off topic OP.

Funny how all the Mandy nuthuggers go on about how Mundine would never risk fighting in Germany again lest he be robbed when he was KTFO the one and only time he fought there.
Meanwhile, Danny green was willing to go back there after actually being robbed in the first Beyer fight, and Geale has gone there twice and beaten 2 world champs on points. Poor precious Mandy, terrified of being robbed in Germany Poor precious Mandy nuthuggers, terrified Mandy might be robbed in Germany |

I think Germany gets a bad wrap these days about decisions..... I believe they have cleaned up their act last 5yrs.
Geales win over Sturm is very good, much better than the win over Sylvester who i don't rate at all very well. It's funny that Geale has won twice over there and Mundine and Green got beat, because in their primes i think Mundine was better than Geale and Green probably on par with him. |

Mundine never went back to Germany because he was more interested in robbing the Aussie public for the next 10yrs on PPV
Khoder wouldn't allow his money tree to venture into unchartered waters again...... Looking back i'm very surprised he even allowed the Kessler fight in 2005. |

The fact that he went to Sturms home turf and beat him makes it special.
Sturm is a good fighter but not great. Katsidis destroying an undefeated Mitchell on his home turf is equally impressive IMO |
