Same with Valuev vs. Wlad, as Valuev was co-promoted by King. |

I think some people are being a little too critical of Vitali here.
I think what he really means is that he has never lost in the 'classic' sense of being knocked out for a count of 10 or beat on a wide points decision. WHich he hasn't. Yes, he quit against Byrd - thus he lost. Yes, the doc ruled the cut was too bad for him to continue against Lewis (which for the good of his health, was probably the right decision) so he lost. |

I think some of you don't understand what he means he doesn't use the right English terms sometimes. Like for example ever since I have seen him he uses the word 'strongest' when he means 'best'. He doesn't actually mean he is saying they are physically strong he means they are the best like before and after the Lennox Lewis fight. Some of you are taking his comments way out of context and making a big deal about nothing. In this case I think he means he has never been KOed his losses have been by injury. Which it true as Vitali Klitschko has an Iron Chin. |

Well, I have seen worse injuries/cuts where the fights went on. It's not that I say it was wrong to stop the fight, I just think that it is not possible to predict what would have happened in the later rounds...

It's not possible but given the end of round 6, Vitali's eye, his deteriorating physical condition it's more than reasonable to assume a Lewis KO or TKO. And I don't think I've seen fights go on with worse cuts than Vitali. What were these?

So we could say - Lennox Lewis never actually lost a fight really.
His only losses are by being injured by punches when he was ahead on points Alan Minter never really lost to Hagler Did Herol Graham actually beat Julian Jackson until he was beaten by an injury caused by a punch This is really gonna redefine the boxing atg landscape |
